Architectural Sheet Metal Installer

Job Summary:
We are seeking motivated and hardworking individuals to join our team as an Entry-Level Architectural Sheet Metal Installer. This position involves high-paced and challenging work, where you will assist an experienced journeyman in installing architectural sheet metal systems. The successful candidate will receive on-the-job training and have the opportunity to travel to various locations in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, be comfortable working at heights, and possess excellent communication skills. Basic knowledge of math, geometry, and algebra, as well as the ability to read a tape measure, are required. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are also necessary for this position.
Responsibilities:
· Assist experienced journeymen in installing architectural sheet metal systems according to project specifications.
· Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
· Learn and apply proper techniques for handling, cutting, shaping, and fastening sheet metal.
· Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet project deadlines.
· Travel to various job sites in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho as required.
· Adapt to changes in the schedule and scope of work, demonstrating flexibility and versatility.
· Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
· Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition.
· Keep accurate records of work performed, including measurements and material usage.· Qualified Installer candidates at the entry level position must have an energetic desire to learn and be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic.
Candidates must also:
o Have at least a High School Diploma or GED.
o Have reliable transportation and be punctual.
o Able to lift and carry heavy objects.
o Able to operate a tape measure, hand and power tools and equipment safely
o Able to follow instruction and work with a team
o Able to work safely outdoors year long in all weather conditions
o Able to work confidently and safely at heights over ten feet
o Be able to work on out of town projects on occasion

Advanced experience level candidates would have at least 1 – 5 years experience in architectural sheet metal. Journeyman and foreman level candidates must present evidence of participation in successful sheet metal projects of varied complexity. Sheet Metal Fabricator/Shop Worker

· Qualified Shop Worker candidates must have an energetic desire to learn and be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic. Candidates must also:
o Have at least a High School Diploma or GED.
o Have reliable transportation and be punctual.
o Be able to lift and carry heavy objects.
o Be able to operate a tape measure, hand and power tools and equipment safely
o Be able to follow instruction and work with a team
· Qualified Shop Fabricators must be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic and lead by setting a good example. Candidates must also:
o Have a minimum of 1 – 5 years experience in metal fabrication
o Be able to read and interpret shop fabrication orders
o Have at least a High School Diploma or GED.
o Have reliable transportation and be punctual.
o Be able to lift and carry heavy objects.
o Be able to operate a tape measure, hand and power tools and equipment safely
o Be able to follow instruction and work with a team
